UBTEB embarks on public awareness in secondary schools

Aware
of the role of stakeholders according to stakeholder mapping report,
UBTEB has embarked on regional public awareness programmes in secondary
schools. The first career session was held today 20th September, 2017 at
Mbale S.S where thousands of students benefited from information on
mandate of UBTEB and the programmes examined by UBTEB. Alongside UBTEB
was Fred Maumbe of MTAC Mbale study centre and Sarag Tibaaga from
UTC-Elgon.
With the thrilling messages on Skilling Uganda programme and job creation, the duo offered messages on career progression and career prospects offered by Vocational Education.
The Director of studies of Mbale S.S Mr.Mwalye Ben appreciated UBTEB for career guidance drive to offer information on vocational programmes examined by the Board and other crucial information. Our partner assessment centres are core in enabling us to offer quality services to the wider population.
