The Board has been reviewing the strategic plan of 2013/14
to 2017/2018. As part of setting to achieve its strategic goals and objectives,
the Board will hold a workshop on 14th -15th June 2017 at Esella Country
Country Hotel to discuss reviewed strategic objectives, desirable outputs and
measurement standards.
According to Executive Secretary of UBTEB Onesmus
Oyesigye (CPA), the new strategic plan is aimed at enabling the Board to maximize all its processes and systems to enable effective
stakeholder management, effective systems optimization in the conduct of
competence based examinations and awards for Business, Technical and other
specialized programmes inline with the mandate of the Board. " I want to
assure our stakeholders that in the next 5 years, the Board will be in better
position to double its commitment to offer timely and effective solutions to
meet their needs as well as aiming at achieving the national development agenda
on skills development through production of competent graduates that can make a
contribution to social economic transformation and national development."
UBTEB Executive Secretary Oyesigye stated.
The workshop shall be attended by members of
management team, representatives of staff and Board members from all
Directorates.
